With an onsite workshop, stonecutting facilities, a stonemason and a Corgi Registered gas fitter all on the team, you can have the highest confidence in the service provided.

Q. What type of chimney do I need for your fireplaces?
A. The 4 Typical Flue Types.

1) Class 1 The Chimney is recognised by a chimney stack with accompanying terra cotta pot.

2) Class 2 Found on older buildings where the existing chimney has been lined by a steel flue or on newer houses with a steel flue built in.

3) Pre Cast Flue. A concrete chimney system identifiable by a rectangular box on the roof

4) No chimney or flue. In this case a turbo or fan assisted flue will usually suit this situation when positioned on a suitable outside wall.

circumstances

Q. Do I have to have my chimney swept?
A. Yes, before you have the fireplace fitted.

Q. Do you sweep chimneys.
A. No but we can recommend a chimney sweep.

Q. Do you regularly inspect and service fires.
A. Yes on the request of the customer we will service and check a fire we have installed.

Q. What can I have if I do not have a class one type chimney?
A. If you have a 5 inch flue liner or a pre cast flue, with a dunbrick type vent or a ridge type vent on your roof, then you must have a class 2 fire. No Solid Fuel just Gas. However this does not restrict your choice of fire places or surrounds.

Q. What can I have if I do not have any chimney at all?
A. A Fan assisted fire will be available for customers with no flue whatsoever.
So once again there is no restriction on your choice of fire or surround.

Q. Do I have to have the fireplace set as it is in the picture?
A. No, you can mix and match with all of the sets. You can have any mantel with any insert or any hearth and tile combination. This allows you to create a very customized set that works best in your surroundings.

Q. What if my chimney is too narrow?
A. No problem. We can manufacture our mantels to suit your requirements.

Q. Do you make your mantels in other woods?
A. Yes. You can also choose from oak, Beech, Maple or Pine.
